In a semi-rural area of Buenos Aires, Argentina, the ‘Mission: Connected School!’ project aimed to create a modern learning environment and make a long-term investment in the education of pupils at the María Teresa Vincentian School. This school caters for disadvantaged children and its entire budget is spent on running and maintenance; it had no IT or audiovisual equipment.

Once the funds had been raised, the purchases set out in the budget were made. The company helped with the installation and set-up of the IT and audiovisual equipment.
Thanks to this equipment, teachers have changed the way they deliver certain lessons by making use of technology: they have adopted a more participatory and active approach involving pupils at all levels.

“We have noticed greater motivation and concentration when using the new equipment, as well as better retention of the subject matter. This enables them to deliver their presentations and talks more smoothly and effectively.” Sr. Claudia
The 770 pupils across the nursery, primary and secondary schools, as well as the 85 teachers, are benefiting from this new equipment.

“What a joy it is to equip our school with digital and audiovisual equipment, as this enables our disadvantaged pupils to fully engage with the world of today and tomorrow, by offering them the same opportunities as their more privileged peers.” Sr Claudia
