As we write these lines, the migratory birds who come to live in the winter on landaise land are preparing to spread a little further in Spain to find more heat. Through this image we wish you also to transmit this flight which are living all the students of the school set Vincent de Paul du Berceau!

Do you remember our musical project?

In order to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the Brotherhood of Charity created by Saint Vincent de Paul in 1617, and to make known its active commitment to the vulnerable, we are creating a musical! It will be a historical evocation of the year 1617 but will also show the message of Monsieur Vincent today through the lives of these young people, their galleys and their joys.

To this end, the Vincent de Paul school group, comprising primary, secondary and vocational colleges, mobilizes 200 pupils from different levels of education, 20 professors, 6 administrative and supervisory staff, 30 parents and 5 service staff.

Where are we today?

3 groups of dancers, singers and actors are active to develop the dialogues, the solos and the staging

After the cold and shy days of winter, the effervescence of next spring and the approach of the dates of representation of our musical comedy, stimulate young and old with the same objective: to realize a common project where everyone continues to discover his Talents!

With the teachers of plastic arts, the young college students are elaborating a giant decoration in the form of tags that they will carry out during the show. The costumes and accessories workshop begins to realize the different elements for each of the groups on stage. Finally, supervised by technology teachers, the young people set out to make decorative elements such as streetlights, skateboards, scooters, etc.

What is our need?

Thanks to the generosity of 30 donors, we were able to finance the whole musical aspect of the comedy, but we need support today to be able to prepare costumes, accessories and sets. Thank you in advance for all the gifts you will give us; Even if you can only support us with 10 € this is already wonderful, because you know as well as me this French adage « The small streams make the great rivers »!

We will try to present you each week in pictures, our advances in all the fields (shows and setting up decorations and costumes).

The final performance will take place on 2 and 3 June 2017! Thank you in advance for your help!
