In Paraguay, the “Switching to screen” project aims to improve learning conditions at La Providencia School by providing access to modern technological and audiovisual tools.
This school has 384 students, from preschool through middle school, and employs 25 teachers. Twenty years ago, it set up a computer lab. The equipment had become outdated and was no longer sufficient for the ever-growing number of students.

The school was able to purchase several pieces of educational equipment: 10 laptops, 3 projectors, and a printer. This equipment was installed in the computer lab.
“The project was carried out without any particular difficulties, and all funds were used in accordance with the planned objectives. Thanks to the favorable exchange rate at the time of purchase, we were even able to supplement the initial equipment by adding a printer and completing the necessary electrical installations!” Sr Sofia

When the equipment was handed out, the ninth-grade students expressed great enthusiasm and gratitude!
One of them, Juan, explained that these tools will allow them to learn in a more hands-on way, make their classes more interactive and dynamic, and acquire knowledge more effectively. They can develop skills related to the use of technology and adapt to the modern world themselves!
Today, this project directly benefits the 384 students and 25 teachers. Indirectly, it also benefits the students’ families—approximately 300 families.

“Students and teachers now have access to modern resources that make learning clearer, more accessible, and more engaging. Students feel valued. What a great opportunity for their future!” Sr Sofia
