The “Defenders of Life” project is much more than just an educational initiative. It's a mission carried out by educators, associations and the children themselves, to learn to know each other, to respect each other, and above all to say no to all forms of exploitation, especially the sexual exploitation of children and teenagers.

It all began with a powerful idea: to give children the keys to becoming the defenders of their own lives and those of others. Thanks to the support of the Rosalie Projects “The Adventures of a Navigator” and the Fondation Adveniat, this idea was brought to life in 2024 in numerous schools, in the form of a comprehensive, structured and profoundly human educational program.

The program takes place over two school years. First, teachers underwent specific training called “I am an advocate”. Pupils then received two educational booklets with activities, stories and reflections on self-respect, body protection, human rights and life in society.

Awareness campaigns were also organized in September 2024, bringing together thousands of voices to say stop to exploitation.

The program will end with a symbolic ceremony, where each child officially becomes a hero or heroine defender of life.

This “Defenders of Life” project is not just an educational program. It's a human experience, a journey to give children back their voice, their confidence, and the strength to be themselves. It's a project in which education becomes a real tool for social transformation.

And if thousands of children's voices can say “no” today, it's because, somewhere, this project is already making a big difference.
