The town of Dschang is located in the west of Cameroon in a mainly agricultural region but in the middle of a mountainous area (1400 m altitude).

In 1970, the first two Daughters of Charity from Switzerland arrived to take care of the orphanage in Dschang. They found their place among the population and over the years became involved in new structures such as:

The St Vincent de Paul hospital, the DREAM Centre for HIV patients, the Centre for handicapped children, the canteen for pupils from poor families, the prison... They are able to identify their needs and help poor families to finance their children's schooling.

Scholarships to continue to encourage 6 students in their professional trajectory

The Daughters of Charity have set up a reception centre to enable young people who are too far from home to attend St Joseph's Catholic College, despite the cost of tuition, travel and accommodation.

"All these works are possible thanks to the generosity of donors in whom we recognise divine providence." Sister Anna

The latest project « "Good education, good fruit » had been a great success and 6 young people had been able to continue their studies thanks to you: their work and efforts had been rewarded by great successes in their courses.

Today, Sr Anna is asking again for the donors of the Rosalie Projects so that these 6 young people can continue their studies/training with confidence and serenity.

Ngong, Gaelle, Felicitas, Elvira are young girls aged between 14 and 21.

We are asking for your help today to continue funding the schooling of these 4 young people who are preparing their General Certificate of Education (GCE).

This project also aims to help two young men who already have the GCE to train professionally.

Idriss will train as a Welder-Fitter.

As for Kevin, he would like to go to university to start a course in Marketing, Commerce and Sales.

All students are from very modest backgrounds and their families have little means to support them. Those who can manage to gain autonomy by supplementing their meagre resources with small jobs in parallel with their studies. Unfortunately, this is not enough.

Thanks to you, school fees, supplies, accommodation and transport will be covered by these scholarships.

Thank you very much for your help!

With them, thanks to you

Chers donateurs
